Description
Hi,
I searched a long time for a nice Mozilla Thunderbird 3 Theme but I did not found anything useful. So I decided to experiment with userstyles and created a Windows 7/Windows Live Mail like Userstyle-Theme for the current version of Mozillas mail client.
Installation instructions:
- Download and extract the PoW7.zip archive.
- Copy the userchrome.css in a folder called "chrome" in your Thunderbird profile directory (%appdata%\profiles\??????????.default\chrome) or just use Stylish
There is also a step-by-step video tutorial in the archive to show what I did to make Thunderbird look like in the preview.
To be honest - I am not really experienced in creating themes like that so there are some limitations:
- PoW7 should be used with the default Thunderbird Theme with Windows Aero or Windows Basic visual style. Otherwise it might look crappy
- The buttons in the mail header view are hidden to save some space. You should add those buttons manually to the toolbar in order to be able to reply to a mail or to delete it again
Feedback is welcome!
